Officers and members of the Boys Brigade of Nigeria have been called upon to dedicate more of their time in service to God in order to glorify his name.
The Chairman, Regional Church Council (RCC) Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN) Headquarters, Bauchi, Reverend Yohanna Daniel Gamu made the call when the Boys Brigade of Nigeria (BB) conducted its first camp in the state at the weekend.
According to Reverend Gamu, it is by so doing that God will be pleased with them and bless them accordingly.
While speaking, the acting camp commandant of the Brigade, Mr Amandah Musa Kori, said the camp recorded tremendous successes.
“As you all know, the Boys Brigade of Nigeria is a Christian uniform voluntary organization which is ready to serve humanity, both in the church and society at large”, Amandah said.
He appreciated those who participated in the program as well as those who rendered support to the organization, especially during BB week which ensured its success.
Earlier while speaking at the occasion, Honorable Samuel J. Haruna, the current executive secretary of Christians pilgrims welfare board Bauchi who chaired the occasion expressed gratitude to God for giving him the opportunity to be part of the program..
He urged members of the Boys Brigade to use their youthful age to serve God faithfully in order for His name alone to be glorified.
Haruna advised them to make good use of the knowledge they acquired during the week-long event and continue to pray for peaceful coexistence in the State and Nigeria at large.
Also speaking at the occasion, the overview officer, Honorable Bulus Iliya who was represented by Honorable Michael Gizo urged members of the Brigade to make use of what they learned during the exercise.
