Christian Urges To Wake Up, Join Politics In Nigeria -Hon Sam Chris

The Chairman Christian youths in politics initiative, Hon Sam, Chris has urged Christian in Nigeria to join politics by participating fully and ensuring that they vote for credible persons with good credentials and grassroots programs.

 

He disclosed that arrangement has been concluded for a crusade in central zone outreach scheduled to hold at Nenpon arena  Pankshi with a called on Christian faithful to avail themselves and actively participate in producing leaders in Nigeria.

 

Sam Chris in an interactive session with journalists at their new office at Polo, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State on Tuesday revealed that the event would hold on the 13th June 2021 saying, as Christians, we feel Christians should also participate in politics as they used to believe Christians should not participate in active politics because some had this belief that politics is worldly.

 

SamChris explained that “We complain about bad Governance yet we don’t go out to vote for who we think is credible so the Bible frown at the decision of Christian.

 

 

“We are after credibility, not party affiliation, not tribe, not popularity, not financial buoyancy but a credible leader. If we register, vote, then we will take responsibility for our actions, but if we don’t vote, then we don’t have business complaining

Consequently, the coordinators of the 5/local Government are to organize from wards, local government, and up to the state level for full participation of the electorate to educate and be enlighten on the knowledge of choice of leaders.
