Chairman Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Accuses Northern Fulani Elders Of Their Inability To Speak

The Jigawa State Miyetti  Allah Kautal Hore chairman Malam Umar Kabir Dibantu Hadejia has accused Fulani northern elders of their inability to speak over what is happening in the southwest of Nigeria over the recent killing of northerners in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

DIbantu accused while granting an interview with our reporter in his office, he accused Northern Fulani Elders of the silence over what happened in Ibadan and other parts of the country, he explained that in the North there are Fulani leaders that could speak to Fulani to stop going to South or order them to relocate back home but the remain Silent.

Dibantu said it is for them to speak because of the mass attack of Fulanis, while some were humiliated and others were robbed, and others were kidnapped and their families were taken away and their animals were snatched which triggered some of the Fulani to become what they are today.

He added that the northern Fulani elders have a stake to speak to Fulani groups to stop migrating to the South because in doing so the Fulanis will be saved with their families alongside their animals.

Malam Kabir further commended the Jigawa State Governor for the tremendous efforts he made in curtailing crises in the state and for the contribution given to their association in restoring the livelihood of some of their members who lost their animals by empowering them with domestic animals.

He described Governor Badaru as an ambassador of peace in the country because of his role to assist Fulanis through dialogue; he said Badaru has participated in Oyo and Taraba crises and the recent crises in Ibadan.

He explained further that Governor Badaru has done a lot in stopping the ethnic crises in the country not only in Jigawa but in the country as a whole.

He seeks for the state government help in establishing compulsory education from primary to secondary level for Fulani children.
