in the Internally Generated Revenue of the State has expressed his administration’s resolve to ensure that all revenue accruing to the state are centralised.
The Governor stated this during a familiarisation visit to the Nasarawa Geographic Information System office in Karu during a meeting with the management of NAGIS.
Engr.Sule stressed that centralisation of revenue from all Government agencies would give more focus to the administration especially in the area of providing social amenities to the populace.
Added that channeling all connections of the state to a single account would ensure effective monitoring as well block leakage which he said would curtail mismanagement of funds by individuals and organisations.
The Governor while inspecting the activities of various Departments in NAGIS suggested ways of improving revenue generation by the organisation, just as he suggested the provision of certain infrastructures that would encourage landowners to patronise NAGIS and also hasten payments of all fees.
