Four times serving administrative Secretary of Buji Local Government Alhaji Sale Baba Buji has declared his intention to contest for the State Assembly seat to represent Buji Local Government Area at the Jigawa State House of Assembly.
Sale Baba Buji made the declaration today at the local government headquarter in Gantsa town where he said that he wants to represent the people of his constituency because those who represented the constituency in the past didn’t do anything for the communities.
He said people are tired of hearing empty promises, adding that they need the positive change that will change their lives.
He assured that if he elected as a member of the State Assembly he will bring positive change to the people he will represent.
Speaking further he said no amount of pressure will force him to withdraw from his intention, adding that since the creation of the council there has not been any project that has been executed by different members representing the area, neither from the State or National Assembly.
Baba Buji, therefore, urged APC supporters in the area to kindly give him their support and at the same time advised them to desist from participating in money politics and political thuggery.
He called on the youths whom he said are the backbone of any society to desist from supporting any political violence during an election.
The secretary called on the journalists in the state to give him their support and cooperation.
