BSS Gindiri Alumni 70th Anniversary: Alumni Set To Commission Projects In Honour Of Missionary Contribution

The Chairman Central Planning Committee of the Boys Secondary School,, BSS ,Gindiri .Rtd Brigadier General Jonathan Temlong has admonished the contribution of the missionary in boosting education in Nigeria as the BSS marks 70th-anniversary celebration.
He made this disclosure at the GOSA secretariat Jos during a world press conference to herald the activities of the BSS@70 anniversary .
According to him, it is worthy of note that in spite of the global health challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic with its devastating impact across the world, we are alive to witness the 70th anniversary of the BSS.
in honor of the missionary in education, the GOSA set 1976 have built Deret Joy foundation to appreciate one of their teacher who later became the principal of BSS, including three projects for commissioning, World-Class science center, Engineering, and ICT to help strengthen science education, he said.
General Temlong Rtd , says”, it is no doubt God doing that the BSS Gindiri has for seven decades stood high above its contemporaries by surviving against all odds that affected various academic institutions and yet maintaining excellent standards that members of the Alumni of BSS Gindiri all over the world have continuously expressed gratitude to God.
He explained further members of the BSS Gindiri Alumni have a special connection with their alma mater and remain the most loyal supporters and best ambassadors, offering invaluable promotion and image making across their personal and professional networks which is an age-long tradition that is more common with secondary schools.
BSS Gindiri take measures to harness the expertise of members towards enhancing the quality of future leaders of the nation to produce people of high integrity with a moral and ethical standard, especially as the citizens, loyalty, and patriotism to move our country forward .
He stressed that they kick start the BSS Gindiri Alumni activities on Monday with 1st November 2021 by creating an awareness campaign, education, information, and the contribution of BSS Gindiri in raising the cotton of enlightenment, 2nd November pay a courtesy visit to Governor Simon Lalong, the Gbong Gwom Jos, COCIN President.
On the 4th of November, the free medical outreach to indigent host communities to patients who avail themselves seeking medical attention .
He disclosed that the BSS Gindiri Alumni would be moving to their new Secretariat at Dogon Karfe Jos as applauded the Late Sen.V.K Dangin for his contributions of donating Secretariat which served as a pillar foundation for takeoff.
John revealed that they are to pay homage to Chairman Miskaham Mwanghavul and Sum Pyem His Royal Fathers’ of the people whose land has nurtured and bred exceptional leaders for the nation and beyond .
He also reiterated that’s the launching of a special edition of GOSA and an award which will be conferred by the Verbatim Magazine in Honoured of BSS Gindiri at 70 and anniversary lecture by D.C.Joy Foundation on 5th on Friday is commissioning of Modular laboratories, Assembly Hall and Dining Hall, Kitchen.
The National President, Prof.Rotgak Gotfwen said BSS Gindiri Alumni would continue to promote academic excellent standards by employing the government to emulate the missionary in education.
He Gindiri has produced the best brains in Oxford, Harvard, and other universities across the world that made them be proud of the BSS Gindiri Alumni.
Gotfwen said BSS Gindiri Alumni would continue to encourage the unity of oneness and demonstrate love amongst them through pragmatic leadership
