Brief Profile Of New Nasarawa Police Commissioner

A new Commissioner of Police has been posted to Nasarawa State. He is CP Bello Ahmed.

Before his assumption of duty on 14th December, 2017, he was the Commissioner of Police, in charge Homicide Section, Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID) Abuja.

The Commissioner of Police, who was appointed into the Nigeria Police on 1st January, 1984 spent several of his service years in the Police Mobile Force (PMF).

He was also one time the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration in Bayelsa and Taraba States and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations FCT respectively.

He took over from CP Mohammad Uba Kura who has been posted to Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID) Abuja,
