Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday afternoon left Abuja for London to meet with ailing President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting, it was gathered was at the instance of Mr. Buhari, who has been on medical vacation in London in the last 60 days.
Senior Media Aide to the Acting President, Laolu Akande, confirmed this on his Twitter handle @akandeoj.
He however said Mr. Osinbajo will return to Abuja after the meeting, apparently to be able to preside over the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
“AgP Osinbajo meeting with President Buhari in London today, and returning to Abuja immediately afterwards,” Akande tweeted.
