Doma Local government Legislative Arm has suspended the Speaker of the House. The sitting was attended by five out of ten Councillors, they are Hon. Awal Abdullahi Okawu representing Sabon Gari ward, The majority Leader of the Local Government, Ibrahim Aliyu representing Madaki ward Hon Mohammed Mustapha representing Sarkin Dawaki ward,Hon. Mohammed Idris representing Alagye ward as the Acting Speaker and Hon. Sule Adamu Ogu representing Madauci ward, who moved for his impeachment.
The Deputy Speaker has taken over as the Acting Speaker.
