Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission Chairman resigns

The Chairman Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission SIEC Alhaji Abdulmumini Mohammed Kundak has resigned his appointment.

A reliable Source from the commission said Kundak resigned last Friday after he wrote a letter of resignation to the State Governor and paid one month Salary in lieu of notice to the State Treasury.

Kundak whose tenure will expire in November 2017 was appointed by the Former Governor of the State Mallam Isa Yuguda.

Kundak a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has held many political positions including Deputy Speaker State House of Assembly, Senior Special adviser to former Bauchi State Governor Isa Yuguda.
