Bauchi State governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has today nominated six (6) new commissioners and two (2) DGs for screening.
Comrade Abdul Ahmad Burra who is the spokesperson of the House of Assembly made this known in a press release issued on Tuesday as he said that the names of the commissioner-appointees were received during the plenary of the House.
The new Commissioner-appointees according to the spokesperson are, Adamu Babayo Gabarin -Darazo Local Government, Zainab Baban Takko – Bauchi Local government, Abdulkadir Ibrahim – Alkaleri Local government.
While other appointees are. Ahmed Aliyu Jalam – Dambam Local Government, Dr. Sabiu Abdu Gwalabe – Katagum Local government and Maryam Garba Bagel – Dass Local government area.
The press release further noted that the governor also sent the name of Joshua Titus Sanga for screening and confirmation as DG Public Procurement Bureau as well as Sagir Abdullahi Muhammad for the position of Auditor General.
Burra said that the assembly has referred the screening of DG Public Procurement Bureau and Auditor General to the House committees of Appropriation and Public Account.
Burra added that the screening and confirmation of Commissioner nominees are slated to hold on 7th September 2022.
