Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has sworn in twenty (20) new local government areas Chairmen and their Deputies, urging them on selfless service as he sanctioned them not to engage in corrupt practices.
The governor charged them to demonstrate their worthiness of their appointments as local government chairmen, deputies and utilize their experience for the progress of Bauchi State.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Multi-purpose indoor Sports Hall on Wednesday in Bauchi, where Senator Bala emphasized the importance of public service and urged them to prioritize the interest of the State over personal ambitions.
He advises the newly appointed Chairmen to work with the fear of God and carries the responsibilities assigned to them for the betterment of the good people of Bauchi State.
Hd cautioned them to maintain the resources of their various local government areas carefully looking at the critical condition in the country.
Finally, Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir urged them to work with their deputies, respect traditional leaders, people of the communities and to join hands with security agencies in order the State to continue living peacefully.
