Badaru Allocate 150 Hectares Of Land To Izalah Groups For The Construction Of Global Islamic University In Hadejia

The Jigawa State government has allocated 150 hectares of land to Izalatun Bidia groups for the construction of Global Islamic University in Hadejia, Jigawa State.

Governor Badaru of Jigawa made this known while witnessing the Sultan of Sokoto and Malam Isah Ali Fantami laying the foundation stone of the university administrative block.

Badaru Abubakar said his government will do everything possible to actualize the existence of the university in the state, adding that his government is ever ready to add more additional hectares of land for the expansion of the university if the need arises.

He explained that governors Masari, Bagudu, El-Rufai and Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano state and he also has agreed to give out a donation of five million each as their support for the university.

Badaru said the Plateau State Governor also sent his delegation with two million Naira for his support while Nasarawa state donated the sum of twenty million as Gombe state promised to build an auditorium for the school.

In his speech, the Emir of Hadejia Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje Hadejia said they have proposed to spend ten billion Naira for the startup of the university, as he also added that the committee has kept four billion aside to build the Senate building and administrative block in the university.
