Despite the humiliation by hiring thugs to frustrate officials from the State headquarters of the ruling All Progressives Congress to conduct the Chairmanship primaries of the Doma Local Government Council, Architect Sarki Ahmed Usman emerged as the APC flag bearer has beaten his opponent, Victoria Apawa.
Sarki got 183 votes, while Apawa scored 78 votes, The party candidate shortly after the announcement of the election result by Adokwe Ladan applauded his opponent for her courage.
He also appreciated Journalists and security agencies for their doggedness to ensure a smooth process at the guest house amidst tight security, as security agencies identified that some persons entered through a space leading to the Plastic of Pakistan while others were stationed on the POP of the hall causing pandemonium at the main gate.
