The Plateau State Local Government Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Jos, has delivered judgement in five wards of Shendam Local Government Council of Plateau State.
The Secretary of the LG Elections Tribunal Nashon Gidado in a statement made available to this medium in Jos.
He explained further that the judgement in favour of the petitioners from shendam LGA are 1. Nyak ward, 2. Peoship ward and 3. Shendam B ward.
Nashon stated that kwapkilik ward and shimankar ward are in favor of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd respondents, this is from Shendam LGA.
According to him, Riyom LGA 1. Tse ward 2. Bum ward 3. Fangroi ward all the petition lack merit and were dismissed.
The trial tribunal Judgements was favour the 1st, 2nd and 3rd against the petitioners while the respondents suffered defeat in Riyom LGA.
However, the All Progressives Congress APC challenging the election in Shendam LGA in five wards won in three of the wards and loss in two ward for inability to proved their cases.
The peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Dr Kemi Nshe Nicola defeated the APC and won in two of the council election.
He disclosed that the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Riyom LGA defeated the Labour party candidates who filed a suit challenging the election of PDP suffered defeat.
