APC Guber Primaries: Former Speaker Scored 2,222 To Defeat Five Contestants By Yakubu Busari,Jos
The All Progressive Congress in Plateau state Governorship Primaries has officially handed over a certificate of return to the former Speaker PLHA Hon. Samuel Lalong as the winner for primary that will be use to select the party’s flag bearer ahead of the 2015 general elections.
The Electoral committee Chairman, comrade Sunny Moniedafe has advised the candidate after handing him the certificate of return said Hon. Samuel Lalong scored 2222 , Professor Emmanuel Garba 304,Barr. Solomon Dalung 293 ,Dr Elijah 50 and Venmak Dangin scored 0 vote
He said“ we urge you to carry everyone along because you don’t know what the common man is feeling ,Plateau people need to get back to redeem its lost glory” .
Your attention is drawn to the plight of people of the state the Delegate Primaries which went on peacefully, for all the governorship aspirants for Plateau State as well as the reaction of five of the aspirants via gubernatorial seat under APC indicate we love this democracy .
He employed all the aspirants who lost to support Hon Samuel Lalong in the forthcoming elections so that he would achieve better development.
Elder statesman Amb. Yahaya Kwande also implored the party leadership to stand on the idea which can promote the unity of the state.
According to him, Kwande pledged his loyalty to the party with a promised that he should never betray confidence of the electorates.
Amb. Kwande congratulated the candidate over his landslide victory for emerging the flag bearer of APC in Plateau state.
Adding, you success is a big challenge to the people democratic Party ,PDP , in the state .
The state chairman of the APC Hon. Latep Dabang recognizes the exclusive right of any political delegates who contribution in 4th December,2014 APC primaries as wonderful, we shall fashion out style of internal administration; “we believe that the basic tenets of democracy which recognizes superiority of the majority in major decision-making, be given utmost consideration above any other narrow interests. And since democracy is all about the people and their inalienable right to choice-making.
We want to lend our voice by urging the party leadership to support process accepting awning candidate for the party in the forth-coming election and allow a level playing ground for all concerned.”
He advocates for promotion of ‘internal democracy’ among political parties, as a veritable way of entrenching true democracy in our polity.

If the will of majority is not allowed to prevail.
