Dadisaid ,as All Progressives Congress,wedescribed the extra judicial killing being orchestrated inPlateau state as dangerous to the sustenance of democracy in the state.
Dadi expressedworried that attempt was being made to use the thugs to rig the forthcoming general elections by PDP,Dadi, added: “Some people are trying to set a dangerous precedent and If care is not taken, we will soon get to a stage where some disgruntled people will get the country democracy into hands of fews individuals ”.
The Former council boss urged Plateau citizensto lookedbeyond the narrow interest of APC, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and elect credible personality that can redeem the loss glory of thestate.
“Rather, what is playing out in Plateau state portends serious danger for democracy in Nigeria if it is allowed to succeed ,we cannot speak of Nigeria without the Tarok nation ,the first Nigerian who rose from rank and file to become a three star general was a Tarok man General Domkat Bali and first ECOMOG commander General John Nanzip Shagaya ,UN secretary general Nanven Joseph Garba all retired.
“This is because the moment it happens in Plateau that the judiciary is used to prevent the person elected by the people in Langtang North
“The implication of this is that Nigerians will just have to kiss democracy goodbye!”with the attitude of PDP government causingthread cautiously.
He cautioned“The governmentmust not give the impression that it is working against the people.
“The moment the people begin to have the feelings that the electionsis being used perpetuateselfishinterests, the credibility of the INECwill become questionable and that is unhealthy for our nation.
“Therefore, those involved in the PlateauState matter should be mindful of their actions and inaction so that they don’t destroy democracy in our country.”
