Retired Major General Nuhu Angbazo has emerged as the winner of the Nasarawa State African Democratic Congress, the ADC in Nasarawa State.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Solomon Dalung, declared the election at the party office.
One of the Governorship aspirants, and former Minister, Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, came second with 18,197 votes.
Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo came third with 15,282 votes, while Osana Odonya emerged fourth with 4,719 votes.
Hon.Solomon Dalung opined that the result of the Karu Local Government was not entered because of the attack meted on the electoral official, adding that the electoral officer was abducted from Karu and taken to a dark room in Keffi.
“In the Karu Local Government election, materials were distributed, but the officer was abducted, and two persons were injured.
He further stated that the party Chairman, who has nothing to do with the election, brought the election result.
