ANAN Graduands Of The College Of Accountancy Kwall , DG Charges On Accountability, Transparency To Reposition Nigeria Dwindling Economic

The Director-General, Nigerian College of Accountancy Kwall, Dr. Kayode Olusola Fasua has charged ANAN Graduands of the College of Accountancy Kwall , on accountability, transparency to reposition Nigeria dwindling economic and provide professional accountant advised in tackling the problems associated with bribery and corruption .

He disclosed that ANAN had provided a lot of capacity building platform for all to graduands to take advantage of building their skills  in Nigeria and African as   professional accountant.


Dr. Fasua who stated  this statement on Saturday during the 9th Convocation ceremony for courses 25 & 26 graduands of the College in Bassa Local Government Council of Plateau state ,Jos .


He equally challenged  all the  graduands to give back to the College and be ambassadors in their field of accounting profession by emulating the same gesture  in every area that is possible in developing our economic .


Dr Fasua emphasized that transparency, accountability is one of their training so he urged them to guide jealously  as he congratulated the College and to the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) as degree awarding institution that can compete favourably with local and international bodies .


The Director eulogies the Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong for his kindness and fatherly love to the college and requested for infrastructural development to meet up the college desire of making it world best institution of learning.


The DG also urged the graduands to be good ambassadors of the College as they continue to distinguished themselves in Their various areas of engagement. “Let me, on behalf of the College Board of Governors, Management Team and indeed the College Community congratulate all graduands, most of whom are already inducted members of our great Association.


“The event of today marks another milestone in your academic and professional pursuit. We are indeed proud of you all, but I dare to say that to whom much is given, much is equally expected.


“We urge you to continue to be good ambassadors of the College as you continually distinguish yourselves in your various areas of engagement.


“You are very dear to us and of course very special to the Association”, the DG stated.


He seized the opportunity to encouraged all to constantly developed their capacity in every area of their lives stressing that


The DG also appreciated the President and Chairman of Council, Prof. Muhammad Akaro Mainoma for the leadership and support he gave to the College to its current height.


Responding on behalf of the graduands, the President, NICASS Course 25, Sunday Angai also appreciated management and staff of the College for their understanding and for their spirit of tolerance throughout their period in the College.


He called on his colleagues not to disappoint the College by  making  the most of the knowledge they have acquired wherever they find themselves. The President further advised that the Vision and Mission of the College should be the creed of their profession.


The occasion was attended by many dignitaries with Governor Lalong (who was represented by the deputy Governor) as special guest of honour.


High point of the event was the conferment of Fellowship Awards on some notable Nigerians including Prof. Babagana Zulum, Executive Governor, Borno State, Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Executive Governor, Enugu State amongst others.
