ANA Grants Hon.Ogoshi Onawo Automatic Membership

• To Be Awarded Alongside Former Governor, Traditional Rulers

The Association of Nigeria Authors, Nasarawa state chapter has granted automatic membership to the member federal House of Representatives representing Awe, Doma, Keana federal constituency.

The chairman of the Association, Muktar Wakeel hinted this while presenting membership form of ANA to the honorable member at his abode in Gwarinpa, Abuja, and the chairman described Hon Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo as a pillar of education in all ramifications.

Saying the House of Assembly under Hon.Onawo witnessed a peaceful deliberations as the speaker from 2003-2007, Adding that Onawo remain the only accessible and friendly politician in the state.

“The Association of Nigeria Authors nominated you as one of the awardees on the 21st, January, 2017, the award was in lieu of your immense contributions to the development of education” he added.

“The award recognized people that matters, people that transformed the education sector in Nasarawa state were carefully selected for the award”.

ANA chairman described Hon.Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo as a politician with intimidating credentials with political experience that can contest for governorship of Nasarawa state.

The Honorable member expressed happiness over his selection for the award, stating that the automatic membership granted him would spur him to do more towards the development of education.

He commended the Association for instilling reading culture amongst the people, calling on the affluent in the society to encourage the participation of womenfolk in writing

“I lack words to express my emotions for honoring me with an award, I know awards this days are bought but my own was well deserved”.
