I help Secured Federal Appointments For 20 Graduates -Senator Onawo

Distinguished Senator Muhammad Ogoshi Onawo has confirmed that no fewer than 20 constituents mostly graduates were accorded permanent and pensionable appointments at the Federal level in the last year.

Senator Onawo, The Chairman Senate Committee on Culture, Tourism and Blue Economy disclosed this during an interview with Universal Reporters at the National Assembly recently, an interview that coincided with his one year at the Red Chamber.

The first timer at the red Chamber, in addition, stated that the twenty youths that secured appointments were chiefly selected across the five Local Governments, comprised of Awe, Doma, Lafia, Keana, and Obi Local Governments respectively.

Senator Muhammad Ogoshi Onawo explained that those also those that secured the appointments cover all spheres of human endeavor, as he said the employment of youth into federal civil service would be a continuous process as in remain in the National Assembly.

“Effort in the area of youth Empowerment is a continued process to secure employment to youth with prerequisite qualifications is an initiative way back in 2003 when I was in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly as a Speaker and I assure you I will sustain the tempo”.

He confided that most of those given appointments during his days at the State Assembly and House of Representatives are serving in key places like the Nigeria Maritime Authority, The Nigeria Television Authority, Standard Organization of Nigeria, Industrial Training Fund, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and others.

Senator Onawo in addition said more youth will benefit from his hands of fellowship, He however buttressed that more opportunity awaits qualified constituents.
