The Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial Candidate for the seat of Plateau State Central, Hon. Golkuna Yohana Gotom has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to apologize to Nigerian for the removal of fuel subsidy that is causing hardship to the poor vulnerable citizens suffering.
Hon Gotom stated this during an exclusive interview with the publisher of the. National Rescue Newspaper through Phone call said, that the President should apologize to Nigerians for ineffective policies of removing of fuel subsidy without due consultation with the Stakeholders in the oil industry.
He explained further that the handover statement of the President led to the creation of food insecurity in Nigeria due to rise in prices of transportation .
Gotom admonished the President to stop distributing palliatives and concentrate on industrialization, reshuffling of cabinets and appointment of qualified capable hands in making Nigeria great through good governance.
He stressed that the country would be better if the price of fuel is reduce to affordable amount but the major challenges affecting the rise of goods transportation wahala .
Gotom explained further that for this country to achieve sustainable development,our politicians most make the needed sacrifice of allowing price of fuel in naira instead of dollars .
He appealed to the President to carefully intervene into the nationwide Protests were is gradually hijack by some groups in Northern Nigeria.
Gotom pointed out that the people have to agree to promote peaceful coexistence amongst them and repositioning Nigeria to remain resolute in the commity of nations.
SOLUTION:
The president should:
1.Apologize to Nigerians for ineffective Policies.
2.Bring back Fuel Subsidy
3.Open Boarders until food sustainability in Nigeria is Assured.
4.Stop distributing palliatives
5.Concentrate on industrialization.
6.Reshuffle cabinets.
Appointments of qualified Youth into Sensitive Areas for Governance.
