Amb Gotom Cries Out Over What He Termed APC’s 8 Years Of Punishment, Insecurity

The Peoples Democratic Party , PDP, Plateau Central Senatorial  Candidate for in the Plateau State , Golkuna . Yohanna Gotom aka Digital Senator has said, that Former Vice President Atiku  Abubakar and Former President Obasanjo laid the solid foundation for a better Nigeria but the President Muhammadu Buhari regime destroyed everything, whereby kidnapping, banditry and farmers/herders clashes were promoted.

He stated the PDP presidential candidate has one of the refined blueprints to revamp back the country from total corruption which is worse under the present government.

However, in 2015, APC embarked on a campaign of calumny against Atiku Abubakar that he was going to sell the NNPC if elected but today the same APC had jacked the price of petroleum products from N45 to N175,he said.

Gotom reiterated that the former vice president was a key player in the development of Nigeria before late Musa Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan came on board to continue from where they stopped and based on the foundation set up by Obasanjo , but we are now witnessing monumental corruption under this regime.

He noted that the corruption is worse now under APC with the rising cost of living, President Muhammadu Buhari sold all the refineries to render the country useless without resources to carter for the well-being of common people, You see NNPC is not functioning, and oil theft had continued in the high sea.

Golkuna Gotom called on Nigerians to get their PVCs ready to vote out the APC government because they have caused the country hardship, and pain in the past 7 and half years in government.

He debunked the issue of crisis in PDP as the general elections timetable is out, explaining that the party is only having her internal challenges which don’t translate into crisis yet as being speculated by political mischief makers.

Gotom vowed to revolutionize the Plateau Senatorial Zone by making it the Economic hub of Africa, by extension Nigeria as a whole that will be compared to any commercial state in Nigeria that would be an envy of all.

G.Y Gotom who is currently vying for a senatorial seat to represent the Plateau central  Zone Constituency was speaking in an interview with journalists in  Jos recently.

He frowned at the rumours being speculated around by some political jobbers whose stock in trade is to blackmail and continue dirty character assassination to portray PDP in a bad light by saying the party is engulfed in crisis.

He said the party, PDP, is not in crisis and it will not be in crisis because we are focusing on how to grab power from APC who have destroyed Nigeria in its 8 years of cluelessness and lack of direction in governance.

According to him, the current issue is just a brotherly disagreement which is normal in every family, and has been sorted out, and members are working together as one family.

He explained that for amicable resolution within the party, he said “I embarked on a peace mission to the residence of the senior stakeholders of the PDP here on the Plateau, Amb. Yahaya Kwande, where vital issues were discussed on mood promoting harmony among aggrieved members.

He admonished that the party cannot move on with the presidential campaign with a  divided house hence the urgent need for the party to put its differences aside and come together as a formidable family, towards winning the election.

Gotom pointed out that once that issue is resolved members can draw a table to work as one to ensure that the party produces the next president in the person of Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

“That Baba Jang cannot be in Port Harcourt and said he doesn’t have anything to do with PDP Presidential candidate led by Atiku Abubarkar”.

” I want to correct the notion from some quarters that PDP is divided, that is a lie, PDP in plateau state is only one the family members of the party only have differences and are not divided as being peddled by some political jobbers who are already scared of the political weight the party pulling ahead 2023.”

G.Y Gotom reiterated the failure of the  APC President Tinubu/Shettima owning to the Muslim/Muslim ticket because in 2017 we remember vividly when Atiku Abubarkar advised Tinubu to kill the idea of the Muslim/Muslim ticket because Nigeria is a secular state.

He debunked the claim that Atiku Abubarkar jettisoned the gentleman’s agreement of zoning of the presidential ticket along the geo-political zones of Nigeria, as he said, Politics is about interest.

He, however, called on Nigerians and his Central Zone of plateau state to get their PVC ready to vote APC government out of power because they have caused the country excruciating pain for the 7 and half years they held sway in power.

He further called on the people of plateau, and Nigeria in general to avoid making another mistake of voting for the APC as there is no alternative part from the PDP.
