Ahead Of Sunday, October 22, 2017, Rev Richard Peters To Hold Thanksgiving In Celebration Of His Three Years Priesthood In African Church

Reverend Richard Peters of the African Church, Eket Diocese, will on Sunday, October 22,2017, hold a thanksgiving at the church auditorium, to celebrate three years of his priesthood in the church and eight years in God’s vineyard.

The event with the theme; ‘Though my beginning may be small,’ will hold at the African Church, St Paul’s Parish, Uyo Central Diocese, 3 Assam Street, Eket, at 9am. In a release signed by Samuel Benjamin, the Pastor’s warden, he stated that, the event is opened to all members of the public.

He further stated that, as a Priest, Reverend Richard Peters through God’s abundant grace has in 3/8years built his strength in Union with the Lord.

In discharging his Priestly services, his belt has been truth, breastplate – Righteousness, shoes readiness for the Gospel, shield – faith, helmet – Salvation while God’s word has been his SWORD which is given by the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 6:14-17).
