Aftermath Of YSAD Workshop For Transporters In Imo, Participants Bagged Certificates

The leadership of a non-governmental organization known as ” Youth and Students Advocates for Development Initiative,YSAD”, in partnership with EaglePost Media and National Orientation Agency, NOA, aftermath of their successful one-day-sensitization-workshop in Owerri have awarded certificates of participation to all members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, who attended the summit.
The event which was held for Transport Unions members in Imo State on Human Rights and Traffic Rules was organized by the Executive Director, Youth & Students Advocates Development Initiative,YSAD, Mr.Obinna Nwagbara.
Aftermath of the fruitful programme, the organizers in their magnanimity decided and paid a visit to the office of the Imo NURTW State Chairman, Comr.Sam Udeh, for organizing all the union members who attended the workshop.
Speaking at the visit last Thursday, March 30th 2022, the Executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer, YSAD, Mr. Obinna Nwagbara, expressed fulfillment to be in strong partnership with the union.
He advised unionists who participated during the seminar not to give room for corrupt practices.
Nwagbara, in his words, charged Imo NURTW members to desist from giving or collecting any form of bribe, even as he encouraged them fight against extortion from the security agencies in Nigeria.
Nwagbara during the visit was accompanied by Comr. Nnamdi Elekwachi, the Compere/Emcee, Monitoring & Evaluation, M&E, of YSAD.
Responding, the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Imo State Council led by the State Chairman, Hon.Comr.Sam Udeh (Ezeumuokorobia), expressed gladness for the presentation of the certificates of participation to all the members of the union who attended the summit.
