Afizere Youth Protest Blockage Of Road, Intimidation, Harassment From Forefathers Shrine By Provost Of Federal Medical Laboratory

The Afizere Youths have protested against the blockage of their road by the Provost of the Federal School of Medical Laboratory Technology Science Dr Sunday Etukudoh.

 

The protesters complained brought before our medium revealed that the protesters weren’t satisfy with the manner the only accessible road linking them was going to be  blocked which would create unnecessary hardship to their people.

 

They accused Dr Sunday Etukudoh of embarking on illegal construction of road network to block them the owners who donated their lands for the building of permanent site as he equally destroying their shrines .

 

The Youths who came out in their numbers to demonstrate over what they described as inhuman treatment melted on them even though their parents donated free 30 hectares of farmlands for the permanent site of Federal School of medical Laboratory science without asking for any compensation.

 

The community youths staged a peaceful protest calling on the state and federal government to intervene on their plight because the bulldozer brought to embark on road and to close down the only accessible mean of reaching the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH, Dr Sunday Etukudoh has brought a contractor to block it.

 

The Chairman of the community ,Comrade Peter Azi Aware while addressing the protesters in front of the permanent site of federal school of Medical Laboratory science solicited the cooperation of the college provost on the following area ,to allow access road ,payment of security guards employed to work in the college ,completion of all abandon infrastructures , classroom ,administrative blocks and employment opportunity to their youth .

 

According to him the 30 years the college under the provost couldn’t witness any structural development so Dr Etukudoh has destroyed the main purpose of the college by promoting sentiment.

 

Our people right have been taken away from us ,we are always harass by his men any time we advance to dialogue with him over the plight our vulnerable communities.

 

Aware explained further that the president Muhammadu Buhari current anti-corruption crusade should come and visit the college and see the dilapidated structures abandon by contractor handling the buildings of the college classroom, administrative block with nothing to show for .

 

Azi Aware noted that as community youths leader they have written to national assembly and Member representing them and house of Assembly member.
