Administrator COE, Akwanga Commends Governor Sule, Union Leaders

The administrator, College of Education, Akwanga, Roseline Kela has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his developmental stride in reshaping and redefining Governance in Nasarawa State.

 

She disclosed this during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists, she maintained that the one year track record was a clear manifestation of a true leader.

 

Kela also commended and thanked Union leaders in the College for given her the maximum cooperation to move the institution to an enviable height.

 

The administrator attributed the tremendous achievements recorded in the institution under her watch, saying frantic steps are taken to implement backlog of promotions.

 

She gave kudos  to the collective effort of all Unions including The College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) and the Non Academic Staff Union (NASU).

 

Kela explained that her headship was built on the application of standard in running the affairs of the College; she says she was on top of the crisis.

 

“Everybody was carried along, stating that the recent global pandemic COVID-19 has paralysed academic activities following the shutdown of schools”.

 

When asked of the ongoing structure facilitated by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, she buttressed that the ongoing building by TETFUND was the brain work of the suspended Provost, Rebbeca Isaac Umaru.
