Adamawa Primaries: Ngilari Reject Delegates List From Abuja Tom Garba,Yola

The PDP primaries today (Saturday) in Adamawa state was delayed as two different delegate  lists was brought to the state which led to stalemate in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election  in the State.
The state House of Assembly primary elections could not commence  as at 6pm as the PDP leadership in the state rejected the list of delegates presented by the election committee appointed by the national secretariat of the party and headed by Ambassador Tim Ehemadu on allegations that the list was tampered with in Abuja.
There has been meetings at the Mona hotel where the elections ought to have been taken place,delegates of different LGA and political stalwarts are seen having cluster meetings.
A closed door meeting later held between the election committee and the PDP stakeholders led by Governor Bala Ngilari lasted till the evening hours as the two parties failed to reach agreement over the lists.
Ambassador Ehemadu, the chairman of the election committee  refused to speak to the press when he was approached,

But a source alleged that names of many delegates have been replaced with the loyalists of an aspirant to give him an edge over the incumbent governor, Nggilari who is seeking reelection.
