Adamawa Assembly Crisis: My Commitee Is To Investigate Kundisi’s Faction, Submit Report For Appropriate Action- Wilbina By Tom Garba, Yola
The ongoing crisis rocking the Adamawa state House of Assembly has degenerated to setting up a committee that will investigate the reasons why the Faction led by Hon Jerry Kundisi has to shift their loyalty against the faction led by Hon Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri.
Hon Wilbina Jackson who was appointed yesterday head the investigative committee during the House plenary seating, said she is going to investigate Jerry’s group and ask them why the sudden shift of loyalty against the most respected speaker they have ever had in the House, Fintiri who is still having the loyalty of majority members and the people of Adamawa still recognises him as the speaker of the state Assembly.
“Whatever I find against them I can’t pre-empt now, neither will I say this is exactly what is to be done to them or to us, my own job is to write a report and submit it to the House and decide what it should be done to them, I know I will make my own suggestions on the report” Wilbina said
The law maker who presently representing the Guyuk constituency of the state Assembly added the crisis rocking the House is a normal and healthy activities of the House, it shows democracy is working in this country and she believe that is going to turn good for the people of the state.
She also responded to a question by our correspondent that her defeat as a wishful House of representative at the national Assembly to had represents Guyuk/Shelleng House representative at the red chambers as a gallant lost out, and take it as a never the right time for her, a time never approved by God to represent her people at the national Assembly with a certain is staging a coming back battle as she will never remain a failure forever.
According to her she has a steadfast loyalty to PDP that she can never defect to any party because she could not make it up to national assembly, that she will enjoy being a very good opposition woman that will give a constructive criticism that will shape up the democracy in our country.
While respecting the good political ideology in President Goodluck Jonathan for conceding to defeat for the sake of the country as a seating president, she admires the kind of dogged spirit of opposition sustained by Buhari to wait for many years for his dreams to come true.
I think there is much to learn in Buhari kind of principles and ideologies, I know he will make a good leader for this county” she added
