Acting Chairman FCFN Warns  On Water Pollution, Commend Electoral Committee

Acting Chairman of Fisheries Cooperative Federation of Nigeria, Nasarawa State chapter, Hon Bashir Muhammed Umar has warned those in the habit of using dynamite, Gamalin 20, and other deadly chemicals to desist from such act, which he perpetrators await death penalty.

 

He stated this when members of the electoral committee visited the palace of Sarkin Yelwan Bassa community of Kokona Local Government to confirmed the victory of all the thirteen contestants that purchased nominations forms for the various positions.

 

Bashir appealed to members of the seven value chains to avail themselves for the ongoing registration, He further said only dully registered members would enjoy all the privileges.

 

The Acting State chairman warned members to desist from water pollution, saying those involved in the act are using dynamite, Gamalin 20 to change a new leaf or the wrath of the law would catch on them.

 

The Chairman of the electoral committee, Nasiru Tanko who was represented by the electoral committee Chairman, Rabiu Dogara Omaku applauded the people of Kokona for exhibiting maturity during the whole exercise.

 

He eulogizes the Chairman of the Local Government for ensuring that consensus was done for the interest of all members and called on delegates ahead of the State delegate election scheduled for March,6,2021 to exhibit the same.

 

The village head of  Akware, Abubakar Baba Jangwa applauded the committee for the smooth conduct of the exercise, He expressed displeasure over the exclusion of Fishermen from Akware.

 

Sarkin Yelwan Bassa, Mohammed Maiwada Dauda in his speech lauded the electoral committee and the State Chairman for organizing during a perfect assignment.
