Abuja: Athletics Championships League – NSCDC Shines
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) athletics team at the weekend showed supremacy over their counterparts from across the country by clinching 10 Gold medals, 8 silvers and 4 Bronze at Athletics Championships league held in Abuja.
In a similar development NSCDC team also shines in Lagos where the team won 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in Lagos table tennis tournament.
The Director of Sports of the NSCDC, Ayodele Titus disclosed that, the development is the beginning of good things to come this season.
He stated further that, “there is no doubt that NSCDC is a force to reckon with when it comes to sport in Nigeria. And I am also using this medium to say that we are not going to relent in our efforts to keep the flag flying base on the Commandant General Dr. Ade Abolurin’s mission for the Corps and Nigeria as a whole.”
