Imo Governorship 2019 Inauguration Ceremony Records Huge Success As Ihedioha Is Sworn-In As Governor

As part of fulfilling the governorship handover/swearing in/inauguration ceremony in Imo State, the 2019 governorship candidate of PDP, Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, alongside his Deputy, Hon. Engr Gerald Irona, was on Wednesday, May 29th, 2019, officially been sworn-in as the 6th democratically elected Governor and Deputy Governor of Imo State.
The inauguration ceremony of the new Imo State Government headed by the PDP,took place at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri,amidst mammoth crowd of people from all social strata who joyfully trooped out en masse as they (Imolites) graced the occasion which was more spectacular, colorful, appetizing and exciting with the people praising God for the new dawn in the State.
Chief Justice of Imo State,Honorable Justice Paschal Nnadi, who eminently performed the swearing-in ritual ceremony,even as he advised the new IMO government to always abide by the rule of law of the state in order to meet the economic, social and educational expectations and needs of the people who democratically elected them into power.
In his inaugural speech, Governor Emeka Ihedioha, while thanking God for His grace in making him governor to liberate the people from bad rulership, appreciated the people for democratically electing the PDP into the office to superintend the affairs of the State.
He said he has designed template to guide him rebuild the State positively so that all persons of Imo state extraction will benefit to have a new lease of life. Also vowing to implement the blueprint contained in the report of the Transition Technical Committee presented to him earlier.
He vowed to overhaul all social institutions in the state: health, education, power, as well as create employment, pay pensions and salaries, etc, plus creating an enabling environment for economic opportunities targeted at making life bearable for the people.
He accused the immediate past government in Imo led by Gov.Rochas Okorocha of impoverishing the people via greed, kleptomania tendencies, hatred, wickedness, and incompetence.
“We will do what is right to Imo State and Imo will be revived, prospers again. I promise to be sincere, accountable with complete dedication to the service of the State, but God on our side we shall prevail, to restore faith and confidence in governance, we will not leave a day to set to work, to hit the ground running for politics,election is over,development now begins”,Gov. Ihedioha posited.
