The normal crowd seen at the seat of power along Shendam road has disappeared into the thin air for the past month.
The crowds are nowhere to be found as the tenure of the incumbent governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura expires in the next 9 days by 10:00am May 29th 2019.
Loyalty has now moved to the governor-elect, Engr.Abdullahi Alhaji Sule who is expected to assumed office by May 29.
Umaru Tanko Al-Makura,it was gathered was working hard to complete some rush hour contracts awarded within the shortest time.
The multitude of vehicles assemble at the seat of power has also disappeared including favors seekers.
While the governors abode at was also deserted even by close friends and relatives.
Al-Makura seen with just two official vehicle and one Hilux van belonging to security and one as pilot vehicle used by Pilot Commander.
In spite of the days the outgoing governor is busy going round to inspect some projects which are dear to his administration, the projects are the multi-billion naira Kwandare Cargo Airport.
There are indication that the airport may not be completed before May 29th, reason been that no light from the national grid to the airport as airport needs 24 hours power supply.
As at press time, the run-way is at a completion stage also the control tower.
Another project dear to this administration that may not be completed before May 29th is the 62Km Kwandare-Keffi road conceived by governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
The road project was conceived with the sole aimed of easing the trepidation faced by commuters plying Benue-Nasarawa-Kokona road as the governor said the new road would ease huddles along Lafia-Akwanga highway.
Other projects like Specialist hospital Akwanga and Nasarawa Local Governments may not be commissioned before May 29th, this also implies to Kwandare International Market would be commissioned by the incoming administration.
