540 Vigilante Members In Jigawa Resumes Duty After Community Policing Training

No fewer than 540 Vigilante members have returned back to their office after three months of training on community policing at Bauchi Police College.
The state commandant of the vigilante Malam Umar Salisu Kazaure said they have directed all the members who returned to report to their office with immediate effect to assist all the security agencies working together.
He explained that very soon another batch of 540 members will go for the training.
Kazaure said after the training they will have a total of 1080 personnel who received the Community policing training.
According to the Commandant, the people who benefited from the training at Bauchi police college were taught basic police course in community policing.
