At least no fewer than three persons reported feared killed while three others narrowly escaped with various degrees of injuries in attacks of a community of Hukke in Miango chiefdom of Bassa Local Government Council of Plateau state on Sunday night.
The information available revealed that the attackers came into the community in the middle of the night to unleash mayhem on the natives.
According to an eyewitness account, he said the assailants stormed the village and they started shooting sporadically into the air before targeting three vigilantes and injuring three of them.

We called on the government to be more proactive, the security of lives and property of its people must be Paramount and if steps are not taken to address this unwarranted killing of our people, we as a nation would like to draw the attention of the government that we’ll boycott the fourth coming LGAs election as a way of registering our grievances.
We call on security operatives to intensify efforts in ensuring that this ugly killing is nipped on the board.
