22 million Nigerians Are Living With Disability…NGO

The Executive Director of CEPAN Rev.Samuel Goro has disclosed that over 22million people in Nigeria are living with disability due violence .

Goro made this disclosure during UN world peace day celebration organised by  Platau Peace Practitioners Network in collaboration with the office of the S.A to  Governor Jang on Peace building, with the theme “Education for peace” at dialogue ,reconciliation and peace (DREP) center, gold and base ray field,Jos


He said,we need to work hard to address the challenges of education for peace to strife,if people provide education to their childen we will definitely achieve meaningful peace in the country .

Goro emphasized that when we have the knowledge about unity in our diversity we are prepare and heading to a better society .

Rev. Goro added that education is key to the development ,education is key to managing conflict and education will help us to co exist with our neighbors.

He appealed for peace practitioners to promote peace education manual for school children to be use at home so that they will become responsible citizens.

Programme Manager peace building Justice’s Development and centre ,JOS urged parents to give proper training to their children on how to achieve the desired peace in Nigeria .

He said the situation require deliberation toward ensuring discipline by managing our cultural diversity for the progress of oneness.

He prayed that parents should engaged these children on how to grow up with the culture love and caring for each other.


Suleiman  blamed community for encouraging the spirit of violence and hatred among the people.
