The Doma Youth Solidarity Group has showered encomiums on the immediate past Inspector General of Police and a Governorship aspirant under the aegis of the All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State.
Party supporters under the umbrella of the retired Inspector General of Police, Adamu Muhammad Abubakar, are expected to support him in 2027.
The organizer and Chairman of the group, Jafaru Garba described the aspirant,the immediate past Retired Inspector General of Police as a humble politician to the core.
Adding that the imprint of Adamu Abubakar is indelible in the sands of some household in the State especially Lafia ,Doma Local Government Area and Southern senatorial zone.
He also confirmed that working for success as Governor of Nasarawa State,in addition averred that the support would never be an exercise in futility.
The convener of the event reaffirmed that during the reign of retired Adamu Muhammad Abubakar some illustrious sons of the neighbouring Local Government, Doma were recruited while some of them were taken to Tanzania for special training, he added.
He explained that the Governorship aspirant of the APC was a peaceful politician with a large followers across the thirteen Local Governments and eighteen Administrative Area Council.
Jafaru Garba urged supporters of Adamu Muhammad Abubakar to be more courageous and work assiduously for success come 2027.
“We should expect more unflinching dividend of democracy from retired Adamu Muhammad Abubakar when he emerged the next Governor of Nasarawa State”.
He informed the gathering of the presence of representatives across all the ten electoral wards of Doma Local Government.
Abraham Gbarigyo from Gbarigyo polling unit of Doka ward in company of his brother hailed the organizer of the event.
“I will feed my people with all the messages from this meeting and pray for the success of the Governorship aspirant”.
An elderly statement, Alhaji Sule Mohammed Ozagya described the retired Inspector General of Police as a childhood friend and classmate who knows the right thing and do the right thing at the appropriate time.
Saying “Supporting him would be an investment for the future”.
One of the speaker, Idris Rilwanu buttresed that the Governorship aspirant is a reliable and responsible person with proven integrity, People are commending him for responding to text messages and phone calls.
Nafisatu Onawo in her speech attested to the crowd that her household has benefited from Adamu Abubakar olive branches, he empowered my son through his aide, A police officer from Doma.
Hafsat Umar Ose appreciate the Governorship aspirant for all the good comments on his kind gesture, “mind is a different comment from what was said,” I want the Governorship aspirant to empowered the womenfolk.
Calling on him to consider the plight of the womenfolk especially widows who are helpless, We have children that are not working and the burden is too much for us, she added that women constitute seventy five percent of voters.

The Chief Prosecuting Officer of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources on Environmental Sanitation,Dr.Abubakar Mohammed says ahead of the prediction by the Nigeria Meteorological Management Agency (Nimet) of heavy downpour within 28-29th of July and 19,20 of August, 2025 has revealed that no fewer than 158 households within the riverine communities of the State were evacuated to a safer place.
The Chief Prosecuting Officer gave the hint during an interview at the end of July sanitation exercise at the State Ministry of Environment and National Resources on Saturday.
Saying the effort was meant to avoid any casualty of lives and destruction of properties as he listed some of the flood prone communities of Ijiwo in Doma Local Government, Loko in Nasarawa Local Government, Tunga in Awe Local Government.
Stating that other frantic effort of the Ministry was to clear illegal structures along waterways to avoid flood across the thirteen Local Governments and eighteen Administrative Area Councils of the State.

In a related development,the Chief Prosecuting Officer of Environmental sanitation confirmed that a total number of 118 were nabbed for violating monthly sanitation exercise.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry who represented the Commissioner, Honorable Magrete Itake Elayo in an interview expressed concerned over the way and manner how traders display their goods on bare ground at Kasuwan Koro.
He added that the flyover side was lither with banana pills,he also decried the flouting of sanitation exercise at Lafia Modern market for not complying with the sanitation law.
