2027: Ex-APC National Chairman Urges Governor Sule To  Consider Western Zone In The Political Equation

The former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has urged the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, to consider the western zone in the political equation for the 2027 Governorship.

Senator Adamu, a two term and first Executive Governor of the State as well a two term senator representing the Western zone, gave the hint when he led critical stakeholders from the zone on a courtesy  call to Governor Abdullahi Sule at the Seat of power.

He reaffirmed the unwavering loyalty and support of all five Local Government Chairmen from the Western Zone of Nasarawa State to the leadership of Governor Abdullahi  Sule.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairman during a high-level courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House in Lafia, Abdullahi Adamu emphasized their collective commitment to the Governor’s developmental agenda and peaceful Governance.

The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, brought together critical stakeholders from the zone in a show of solidarity and unity of purpose.

Senator Adamu, stressed that the zone has remained loyal, peaceful, and supportive of the administration and therefore deserves fair consideration in the spirit of equity and justice.

He in addition opined that the Western Zone has contributed immensely to the stability and progress of Nasarawa State, and we believe it is time for our zone to be allowed to produce the next Governor,” he added, quoting a Hausa proverb “So Sone Amma son kai yafi”.

The Executive Chairman of Karu Local Council,Barr. Madaki during his speech, prayed that whoever emerges as the next Governor of the State would continue to consolidate on the unprecedented legacies of Engineer Abdullahi Sule, especially in the areas of infrastructure, peacebuilding, industrialization, and good governance.

Governor Sule, while receiving the delegation, expressed appreciation for the show of support and reiterated his commitment to Inclusive Governance.

He, in addition, stated that he is a product of fairness.
