The Executive Secretary, Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Bauchi State, Honorable Samuel J. Haruna has urged Christian faithfuls to use the occasion of this year’s Christmas and pray to God for peace in the country.
Samuel disclosed who made the call yesterday at his residence in Bauchi, said looking at the current situation in the country, people need to use the Christmas season to worship God and serve him faithfully.
The Secretary cautioned people against mismanagement of their hard earned resources, most especially during Christmas festivities.
According to him, “with the kind of harvest this year, if Care is not taken we will still face high prices of food items in 2022, but we’re not praying for that to happen again”.
Samuel also cautioned parents against allowing their children to involve in criminal activities such as armed robbery, civil disobedience, violent protests, substance abuse, banditry, kidnapping and other social vices.
The secretary advises Christian Youths to use this year’s Christmas season to dress well as utter meaningful words of blessings to people so that the name of Jesus Christ will be exalted.
He assured the people of the state of the untiring effort of Governor Bala Mohammed towards delivering the much needed dividends of democracy across the state”.
The secretary urged Christians to continue praying for the present administration in the state, adding that the government of Bauchi state under Bala Mohammed is the most peaceful and friendly one.
