Plateau Assembly vows to tackle insecurity and maintain law and order
The Chairman Plateau State House of Assembly committee on information and communication Hon Abubakar Mohammed Balo has vowed to tackle insecurity problem in the state and maintain law and order through good legislation.
He solicited the understanding of Plateau people to imbibe the spirit of tolerance with the government of APC and Governor Simon Lalong government.
Briefing media representatives after the swearing ceremony of two members of APC representing Pankshin North and Pankshin South in the rerun victory on Wednesday in Jos , he stressed that, the members of APC have increase now with full control of the hallow chamber for them to discharge their legislative duties and passed bills that have direct impact to the lives of their constituents.
He added; under the present members of the 8th assembly many bills have been passed into law most especially that of the agriculture and food security to help reduce the plight of people in the rural areas.
The chairman information revealed there are no reasons for the House to change the leadership of the House assembly because they are operating on Plateau projects of rebuilding the lost glory of the state.
He appealed to those perceiving notion of impeachment saga hanging on Hon Yusuf Gagdi as baseless rumour and also as a mere speculation carried out by some group to attract hatred among them.
