Delta Finance Commissioner, David Edevbie Allegedly Planning To Resign As Gov. Okowa Has Made Him Redundant

The above statement was made by Delta Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa during the swearing in ceremony of his commissioners in which David Edevbie the Commissioner of Finance was among, Okowa’s statement no doubt showed that he sees in Edevbie as the financial manager who will bring solution to the statement he made.
However, information available to this medium indicates that that the way things are going on at the Government House shows that Edevbie may have lost out in the running of the financial affairs of the State.

According to the source who spoke to this medium said; as I speak with you now, Governor Okowa and his kinsmen from Ika have made the Commissioner of Finance’s job a waste of time.”
“The files no longer come to his table, as it is alleged that Governor Okowa has mandated his Ika kinsmen especially Kingsley Emu the Economic Planning Commissioner, to do all the jobs Edevbie is supposed to do,” the source said.
The source told this medium that; “the Commissioner of Finance is alleged to be planning to resign and packed out of his accommodation in Asaba because Okowa and his kinsmen no longer regard him for any job scope.”
