1,186 Officers Of The Jigawa State Police Command Decorated With Their Next Ranks

Police officers in Jigawa state are in a jubilation mood following the promotion of men and officers to the next rank.

According to the Jigawa State Police Command, it said one thousand, one hundred and eighty-six (1186) Officers were decorated with their next ranks.

This followed the massive promotions of the junior ranks by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM, mni.

Below are the categories of Officers benefited from the gesture;

1. Sgt to Inspr – 605
2. Cpl to Sgt. – 312

iii. PC to Cpl  –   269

At the occasion, the representative of the Commissioner of Police, DCCID, DCP David D. Kromda enjoined the newly promoted officers to be more dedicated to their responsibilities. He concluded that to ‘ to whom much is given, much is expected’.

Finally, the celebrants expressed appreciation for the magnanimity of the Inspector- General of Police. They also thanked the Commissioner of Police Jigawa State Command, the management team of the Command, and the entire Officers and men Of the Command.
