Less than months to the conduct of Local Government Council elections in Nasarawa State, A leader of decampees from the Zenith Labour Party in Doma Local Government Council has described ZLP as a fraud.
The team leader, Awal Yahaya gave the revelation alongside over forty supporters of ZLP defected to the People’s Democratic Party at the PDP Secretariat.
Awal said everything in ZLP is fraud and unfulfilled promises by those that be, on the insinuation making round that the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State would hijack the outcome of the October 6, 2021 Council election, advised the supporters of his new political party to disregard the Position of few person’s that did not want any good for the opposition to go and converse for the vote.
“With Engineer Abdullahi Sule on the driver’s seat is going to be a clear departure from the way we do things in Nasarawa State, Giving the assurance that the PDP in Doma Local Government has decided to field a humble and servant leader as a candidate”.
Urging women that work tirelessly for a candidate of ZLP to clink the seat of the House of Assembly to turn out en masse to support Honorable Mohammed Baba Musa as the next Chairman of Doma Local Government for good things to come.
“We want to end hunger and Insecurity In Doma Local Government, Nasarawa State, and Nigeria, and the only way is to vote APC out”.
The running mate to the party Governorship candidate in the 2019 governorship election, Honorable Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo says he accord topmost support to ensure that the party is victorious in the forthcoming Local Government Council election.
Calling on supporters to remain calm and resolute at all times, thanking all and sundry for the show of love despite their tight schedules to attend a party function.
The two-time member of the House of Representatives representing Awe/Doma/Keana Federal constituency was represented by a former Commissioner, Nasarawa State Independent Commission, Danjuma Abubakar Marafa.
Doma Local Government party Chairman, Isyaka Onawo called on supporters to disregard all forms of intimidation by the party in power.
Also speaking, the former Chairman of the PDP,Ali Yahaya Sarkin Noma assured the defectors of equal treatment during and after the election.
An erstwhile member of the State Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Hamza, The State Publicity Secretary while receiving the decampees on behalf of the state Chairman, Honorable Francis Orogu said the party is one.
Appealing to the new members to imbibe the spirit of oneness and unity of purpose for the sake of the party.
He attested that 2021 is another golden opportunity for the opposition political party, The People’s Democratic Party to bounce back stronger.
He further maintained that the party would victory in the forthcoming Local Government Council election come October 6, 2021.
