Indication emerged in Bauchi that, most of the political appointees under former governor Yuguda’s tenure in Bauchi state are currently under investigation before the EFCC zonal office in Gombe.
The source confided to this medium that the anti-graft had recently dispatched letters of invitation to those affected through the state PDP office in Bauchi for onward deliverance to those concern.
“Yes I can tell you that we have been calling each of the affected person to come and collect the invitation letters in person not by proxy and it’s unfortunate that majority are not. Aware until when they read the content of the letters” said the source
It was learnt that Yuguda had allegedly forwarded the affected person’s name before the EFCC indicting them of collecting huge sums in related to Dasuki arms gate as well as cheating the state of huge sums during his tenure ad governor.
Even though, another source confided that, the former governor may have carried the punitive action apparently miffed for losing senatorial slot to Ali Wakili in spite of the colossal money the accused were said to have collected from him to canvasses for vote towards his senatorial ambition, yet none of them to deliver his unit thereby culminating to the victory of APC in all elections in the state.
Privy information added that some of the affected persons are his first former Secretary to the state government, permanent secretaries, commissioners, director-generals, Senior special advisers, advisers as well as other political appointees in the state.

It was gathered that the accused have since been reporting to EFCC office in Gombe to clear themselves of the allegations and those found guilty will face the wrath of the law and their properties already impounded.
