Senator Philip Aruwa Gyunka has described the ongoing fight against corrupt and gullible Nigerians by the federal government as a victimization of the opposition, the senator representing Nasarawa North (PDP).
Gyunka disclosed this in a chat with Journalists at his hilltop abode in Akwanga, the senator said only sincere fight against corruption would yeild fruitful result.
The PDP lawmaker buttressed that some of the corrupt members of the ruling All Progressives Congress are walking freely with their corrupt tendencies, saying the president would only succeed through fighting a justifiable fight against corruption.
He blamed whistle-blowers for portraying the image of the country in a bad light instead of polishing the state in a positive means. The senator in his Christmas message sued for unity, peace and progress.
Calling on Christians to act according to the biblical principles, appealing to the people of the state to shun hatred, killings, stating further that individual should consider the interest of Nigeria above individual interest.
