President Muhammadu Buhari has described the death of young talented man Dr. Wummen Tsemba Bako as a major setback to the family and a great loss of bundle of dreams and aspirations.
The President was represented by the minister of sports and youth development, Barr. Solomon Dalung he commended the family of late Wummen Tsenba Bako plateau state for its current fight against insurgents in spite of the lean resources.
Governor Simon Bako Lalong said it is difficult to loss a younger one as he said, late Dr. Wummen Tsemba Bako was a dynamic person; his death is quite painful because he is a rising son of the Goemai Nation.
We appreciate him because he was a unifying factor but I thank God on behalf of the people who graced this burial.
“Our father died and left us when we were still very young in secondary schools.”
According to him, their late father didn’t leave them with anything only his sisters whose came and agreed to pick them and trained them, so today we have become something in the society in spite of life challenges after the demise of their father.
Lalong told the gathering that the grace of God has been sufficient enough keeping them very strong to arrive to the present position.
“I wish that I died like my late brother because he knew that he was going to die and he said that don’t take me to any hospital or make effort of spending money ,I am receiving father’s blessing until is over “,he said.
Lalong stressed that the children are very lucky, he said; “when I reflect back during the period that our father died he left us with nothing but your father left something for you to pick up your life up.
He said,” my sympathy now is for the community of Nyak Ajikamai because of the significant contributions made by Dr Wummen Tsemba Bako as well as his efforts to transform this to modern settlement”.
Wummen made used of my office more than me, he provided secondary school, skill acquisition center for this poor vulnerable women to be engaged in vocational training to end poverty and clinic to take care of pregnant women sick people.
We don’t know the difference between the Langtang South Local Government Council and Shendam when he was in the village.
“I understand the pain of Wummen dead but I can’t fight God.
In another development, former Plateau state Deputy Governor, Dame Pauline Tallen the representative of Mrs. Aisha Buhari expressed shock over the demise of Dr Tsemba Bako, she described the death as the most painful exist of a very young man whose contributions remain fresh.
She said her heartfelt sympathy disturbed the entire motherhood because every mother understood the pain of Wummen dead .
