Barr. A T Shehu who is the state Chapter scribe (Secretary) of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, said Bindow Administration is a one sided Government not considering the interest of the general public who are the Majority.
According to him PDP didn’t have this style of Governance, as it was always making sure it carry everyone along, everybody is represented and the general public was having a feeling of fair play.
”Bindow is running a lopsided government, though I am not surprise with the kind of governance I am seeing because the Governor himself is a one sided Governor “. He said
The accusation made by the opposition party came as a result of a Press statement issued by the Governor and Signed by his Press Secretary, Yohanah Mathias of the appointments made which include Mohammed Abdullahi Abba as a special Adviser on Assembly Matters and State Assembly Liaison,Audu Ayuba Tanko state coordinator and Special Adviser to the Governor on Wealth Creation and poverty alleviation,Mohammed Awwal Abdullahi – Special Assistant on New Media (Social Media),Alh. Ja’afar Abubakar Magaji – As Member Adamawa Investment Company to replace late Ismaila Jauro, Mall. Sanusi Mohammed Bakari and Mall. Saidu Usman were also given an appointment as Principal Assistants to the office of Chief of Staff, whose appointments has since take immediate effect.
But on a contrary view one of the APC stalwart in the state, Mr PP Elisha said Bindow’s appointments has nothing to do with sentiments that is bordering along religion or ethnicity line but is fishing out best hand that is going to work for the interest of the general public in the state.
A grassroots politician and a Woman activist who at one time a secretary of Mayo- Bani Area Development in Mubi North Local government Area (LGA), Hannatu M Jarengol also berated the appointment as he is sidelining women in the state who have massively voted for the ruling party.
Jarengol added that APC which is supposed to be a party of change to meet the yearnings and expectation of people is gradually becoming a party of religion and ethnic sentiment with serious bias to women Gender.
