You Are A Prodigal Son, David Mark Tells Maku, Gives Him 24 Hours To Return Back To The PDP By Rabiu Omaku, Lafia

The People’s Democratic Party has given the erstwhile minister of Information;   Labaran Maku 24 hour’s ultimatum to return to his former party, PDP, The senate president, David Mark described Labaran Maku as a prodigal son and must return home tomorrow.
He stated this during the flagging-off of governorship campaign of the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Yusuf Muhammed Agabi held in Keffi.
David Mark disclosed that the former minister must return in the next 24 hours ,challenging Maku to apologized to Mr. President for his inaction by defecting to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) The president of the senate disowned the widely spread rumor that president Jonathan is supporting the candidature of Labaran Maku under the platform of APGA.
“Is not true that Mr. president is supporting Labaran Maku who is in a different political party, The president is working for PDP from Assembly to Senate, speaking on the ongoing campaign of religion, David Mark condemn the act as meant to cause disaffection among the diverse ethnic group in the state, Saying Nasarawa state I not a religious state, Adding that the politics of religion would not work in the state.
“In every household in Nasarawa state we have Muslims, Christians and pagans leaving peacefully, for that the issue of bigotry cannot stand the taste of time in the state Said senate president.
The former governor of the state, Aliyu Akwe Doma called on PDP supporters in the state to bury their hatchet for the interest of peace, saying peaceful co-existence among party supporters would ensure the success of the party in next month election.
Doma opined that the success of PDP in next month general election would end the rising spate of poverty which was at the driver’s seat.
“During our time we put food on the plate of many people by creating hope amongst party members but not like the APC regime that poverty looms.
The state party chairman of the party, Chief Yunana Iliya advocate for unity among PDP followers at all times, He expressed displeasure over the ongoing campaign calumny embarked by other politicians in the state ,Full of optimism said the party would reclaim the governorship seat come next month, The gathering witnessed low turnout by party followers.
