The Stakeholders of Yothe ung progressive party, YPP, in Plateau state have berated the 2023 gubernatorial Candidate Manji Gontori over decamping to APC that his defection was a total charade that lack credibility and a liability to his new party.
The member of the Young Progressive party on the plateau and candidate for the forthcoming 2023 general election for the office of the House of representative Yakna Samuel Yarnap expressed shock that someone of Gontori claims of decamping with over 2,000.00 decampees is a complete deception from the peak hell.
He berated the 2023 plateau state gubernatorial candidate Engineer Manji Gontori over his sole decision to decamp to the ruling All Progressive Party , APC from the opposition Young Progressive Party YPP.
Addressing newsmen at his residence in Jos, the plateau state capital, Yaknan Samuel Yarnap described the act, as an act of betrayal and shear demonstration of cowardice, ‘the news came in with a great shock to not just me, because Gontori has surprise not just us stakeholders of the party, the party and members of the party, the masses who believer in his vision’.
Describing the action of Engineer Manji Gontori, as ‘the greatest betrayal of the century , I leave Gontori with his conscience to judge him’ Yaknan Samuel Yarnap said as young man who has just begun his political journey, he had made the greatest mistake of his life.
Yaknan Samuel Yarnap was quick to note that, such an exercise in futility has nothing to do with his candidature of House of Representatives , Langtang north , Langtang south as his constituents remain solute in ensuring victory come 25th, February 2023,’A painful part of it was that we spoke, when I called him and intimated him, that I has APC gave him #1billion, he exclaimed , that how can he be given such amount and still be looking for funds to go round the 17 LGAs’.
Yaknan x-ray how they were able to convince their party leader Ifenyi Uba to release a campaign truck to Manji Gontori just for him to jettison the same midway.
He expressed his disappointment with Manji Gontori for his temerity to drive into the APC flagged off with YPP truck giving him by Ifenyi Uba.’he even have the gods to drive into the venue with the truck and even promising to donate the truck to APC, let’s see how he is going to go about it.
