We Will Dissolve Nasarawa United Management For Better Result-Commissioner Youth And Sports

Nasarawa state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon Bamaiyi Anangba has said the frantic measure taken to dissolve the management of Nasarawa United Football club of Lafia was not to witch hunt the management team but rather to reorganize the club for better performance.

He stated this while reacting over an allegation of financial aggrandizement levelled against him by insiders; he said the position of the ministry to dissolve the management was to effect total change in the club.

“From inception of the state we have only two sets of management team, saying the management has over stayed in office”.

“Even if they will continue in office we have to dissolve them in the first place and if possible re-inaugurate them again

He decried anomalies committed in the ministry, in addition saying the restructuring of team Nasarawa United,male team and Nasarawa Amazon, female team became imperative.

“No sport secretary in the present management, our decision as a ministry is to promote secretary to Director because is not in conformity for a superior officer to report to his junior.

The Commissioner said the dissolution would take place very soon.

“The management just exist by name reason been that they are dysfunctional management, what we are waiting is financial report before we will dissolve them”.

The Commissioner averred that Shammah has also been relieved of his position as the Secretary.
